Power Outage in Faith–Another Reminder of our Great Community
Thursday, November 13th, 2008The City of Faith was without electricity from 1:45AM until 5:30 PM Thursday, November 6, 2008 due to a snow storm. The Public Safety Building, which has a generator, was open to stranded travelers, the elderly and other residents that needed shelter. The community came together serving lunch and supper to all. The Police Department called on Faith residents to make sure everyone was okay. Also, the Ambulance staff checked on people who were on oxygen. If this happens again, Faith residents needing emergency assistance, should contact the Faith Police Department at 605-967-2222. They will do everything they can to help. Get the word out to family and friends that the Public Safety Building does have a generator and will be opened for any emergencies. We want to thank everyone who helped during this electrical outage and any further situations.
