HIstory of Faith - is this a regular article? I like it. Just a short blurb. I would like to start doing this for Whitewood.

A question about the history of Faith...I grew up in Isabel and was always told that the two cities--Faith and Isabel--were named after the daughters of the man who ran the railroad in that area--am I correct in my history? Isabel was established in 1911, so I'm assuming we were named after the youngest daughter! HA!

I like your little bit of history on your blog--is your centennial planning in full swing? I remember always loving to come over to Faith for the HUGE parade, the carnival, and of course afterward, root beer floats at the drive in. I got to see Ronnie Milsap and Ricky Scaggs both in concert at Faith, which I'm sure were my first concerts ever...unfortunately, I didn't get to see George Strait when he was there!

Congrats on all of the great improvements in Faith, as well. The east side of town is specifically looking pretty spiffy! The new fire hall + is just awesome, as well as the Community Center. Way to go Community of Faith.
