Fitness Center Update

Friday, January 18th, 2008

maxine.jpg

At the Horizon’s II meeting on January 16th, the discussion of the Fitness Center was discussed.  The site for the fitness center will be in the city building, upstairs from the police station.  We understand that it is not handicap accessible at this site, but it is a starting place so we can get the center going to build up to something accessible to everyone.  Also, at this time, appoximately 9 different pieces of equipment have been donated from as far away as Rapid City.  We still would like to possibly have a TV, a stereo system, exercise mats, a VCR/DVD combo for the center.  If you have anything to donate to help get this project going, let us know by calling or leaving a comment.  The center is planned to be opened on February 1st.
